oily skin?

Question by rachel heron: oily skin?
I have really oily skin, & I wash my face 2 times a day with acne free. I was using proactiv but it stopped working.. Are there any other remedies to get rid of it, or at least keep it under control without interfering with the acne free? I would love everyones input!

A good BHA product might help. Try Neutrogena Rapid clear gel. Blot with loose powder throughout the day. Don’t touch your skin much. You can also use benzoyl peroxide, which is really drying for most skins, but might be ok for you.

If it’s really bad, get a prescription for Accutane. That’ll dry you right up and is usually permanent.

  1. Hye

If you have a oily skin u have to use good face-wash Clean & Clear Johnson Brand. It is best for your face. And one option is more i.e. take some multani mitti with gulab jal. This paste use on your face twice in week. You will get a better result after 5-6 wash.

  2. I have oily skin and what works for me is to use a oil-control primer under my makeup. My current favorite is Iman Under-Cover Agent Oil Control Lotion. I also make sure to carry MAC Blot Powder with me. It helps you to stay matte without adding noticeable color or texture to your skin. If you don’t want to use powder blotting papers will work fine. Clean and Clear makes good ones. I wash twice a day with Neutrogena Cleansing Bar and use a moisturizer with a low concentration of Alpha Hydroxy Acid. Also once a week I use a clay mask. As far as makeup, use an oil free foundation. I like Laura Mercier, MAC and Prescriptives for foundations. Hope this helps!
