  1. I don’t like the idea that alot of bottles I examine at the store don’t have an expiration date on them. I know that they usually only last about a year or two, so I hate when stores may be just dusting off old bottles from god only knows when and sticking them back on the shelf. I won’t buy undated sunscreen. Always check the date!

  2. I think it depends. If the powder has titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, it may be better at protecting your skin since powder tends to sit on the top layer of your dermis. I love PTR’s little brush, and it’s great to use with makeup.

  3. Good question. You probably wouldn’t wear makeup to the beach or working out, and that’s what we mean — if you’re swimming or sweating, you need to reapply. Or even if you’re working in the sun.

If you have a job or go to school, you’ll be okay if you wear an SPF 30 or higher under your makeup, and wouldn’t need to reapply unless you were knew you were going to take off your makeup. If you want to wear makeup and will be outside, do you best to wear a big hat, and wear that SPF 30.

  4. I’m actually discussing this with Dr. Murad, because there is not a lot of definitive info about this out there. I have been told a few different things but want to be sure. Stay tuned!

  5. I love all the questions! That means you CARE about sunscreen, and you really should. Nobody wants to age sooner than they should, but mostly, NOBODY deserve skin cancer! Cover up!

  6. The thing is a lot of ppl don’t reapply through out the day b/c we wear makeup :/ I suppose you could use a dry sunscreen or reapply powder with sunscreen in it. Personally I don’t like to do that b/c it goes over my contour, highlighting, blush, etc. OH well.

  7. no you are only going to get the highest one of them which you applied so it would be 40 but since it’s a bb cream i’d doubt that you apply enough to get the full protection. that would look very cakey

  8. Thank you for the video very informative. When we wear makeup in order to reapply sunscreen do you think that the powder sunscreen ( as Peter Thomas Roth) gives the same protection as liquid sunscreen? Thank you. Nella

  9. excellent. I needed some advice about sunscreens. I had no clue about that difference between uva and uvb! very informative guys 🙂
