Oily skin cleansing will require lot of tepid warm water and mild soap to keep the pores being clogged. It is better to avoid harsh skin care products that could make you feel comfortable for sometime but in long run it would cause flakiness.

If you make up your own lavender tonic at home be sure to use sterile containers and keep it in the fridge.
