I have pimple-prone, red, oily skin. What face wash should i use?

Question by Lehanne Woodwood: I have pimple-prone, red, oily skin. What face wash should i use?
I have tried so many face washes and they either make my skin super dry without taking the pimples away, or make my skin even more oilier. I’ve used Dove, Rough exfolients, clearesall and so many more, but nothing works! I can’t afford stuff like proactiv, i also use Nude by nature mineral foundation, and take zinc tablets. If you could just recommend something for me, at this point im desperate..
PLEASE HELP!!

Have you tried Clean & Clear? That’s what works best for me. Maybe it’s best you don’t use a face wash. Maybe your face is only reacting to all the cleansers. What’s the longest you’ve gone without using a cleanser?

Try a zinc supplement between 25-50mg per day. What do you currently take? I take 50mg and notice results within a few hours.

How are your eating habits? Record what you eat and see what vitamins you require more of.

You need an account to sign up for this account, but it’s totally free for tracking what you eat:

Track everything you eat in one day and it’ll show you what you need to eat more of each day. For me it was Vitamin E.

If nothing’s working, maybe it’s time to go to your doctor and try and have him/her refer you to a dermatologist.

  1. I had really bad skin and the only soap that ever really stopped my oil is neutrogena. The bar soap not the liquid. Be sure to use the one that is Fragrance free. I tried the acne one also, but found the regular Fragrance free works better at stopping oil. It also has less ingredients which is less to clog up your skin. The only thing that then stopped my acne is a vitamin I get it from a website called b5clearskin.com. I use the vitamin, they also have a Liquid, but the reviews say it tastes bad. I have used this for 6 years now, and have 100% stopped breaking out. After the first month of the vitamin you only take 3 a day (with meals) so they last a long time. Check it out trust me I have been there and tried every thing there is including very expensive products. Good luck
