Hello! I have oily AND dehydrated skin, and I’ve recently found an
excellent BB cream that I would like to recommend to everyone. The name is
“Rosette Hello Kitty Ghost BB Cream SPF 30 PA++”, I found it in Japan and
bought it randomly just because I thought it was funny that they had Hello
Kitty foundations… but I’ve been using it since, and it is GREAT. Not
grease, looks very natural and very soft (even for my skin, which is prone
to adult acne). So here’s my recommendation! I’ve just discovered you can
get it on Amazon for 15$, so not bad at all!
Vıchy and Clınıque are both good for my very sensıtıve skın. They are both
fragrance free and Im sure that plays a bıg role. If you have sensıtıve
skın never ever use somethıng wıth fragrance on your face. I also LOVE the
Neutrogena daıly blackhead elımınatıng scrub, ıt ıs not at all dryıng and
ıt makes my skın so soft and smooth and ıt really gets rıd of blackheads.
BB creams are good for dry skin, because it’s a moisturiser and foundation.
Avons is really good and cheap. Also, Rimmel Healthy Glow is equally as
good. I tend to use a body butter for moisturiser, then no primer’s because
they dry skin out. Especially MAC. Cleansing and exfoliating before
applying makeup helps xx
I have oily/combination skin and I have been using MAC studio fix fluid,
MakeUp Forever HD foundation, and CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous
Foundation. I have used this MAC foundation for a while now and though I am
not super satisfied with it, I do find that it is decent. The MakeUp
Forever HD Foundation was my attempt to get away from the MAC studio fix.
MakeUp Forever HD foundation on me is terrible; however on normal/dry skin
I think it might be alright. It leaves me way too shiny after only a couple
of hours. The CoverGirl outlast stay fabulous foundation has been a nice
cheap alternative. I have never bought CoverGirl makeup before and I was
very surprised by this purchase.
My hope was to gather information regarding under eye concealers. I am
finding my fine lines are capturing the concealer. Does anyone have
recommendations?? I do not mind spending more money for a high end product
if it is going to work. I am looking to conceal darken areas under and on
the inside corners of my eyes. Any tips or suggestions??
my skin is something between normal and oily and 3 years ago i used
cliniqie even better and i loved it ..it has a good coverage and my skin
doesn’t felt oily even though i didn’t use powder back then ..then i
stopped using any foundation because i had a perfect skin but now it seems
like i get my old skin back so now i use clinique superbalanced and even
though it’s for oily skin i really don’t like it ..
I have combo skin dry but alittle oily on my t-zone and ive been using ysl
and I literally ADORE it, I always switch around but keep going right back
to it. I have acne prone skin as well and it doesn’t break me out at all.
its alittle pricy but ive had the bottle for such a long time so its so
worth it!
Sam! could you do a tutorial on your look you’re wearing? I love it 🙂
I love the YSL foundation … And it has an SPF of 19 🙂
I’m loving my Tarte BB Cream, very natural, smooth application. Have you
tried it?
I have sensitive skin and just found and use the foundation of Guerlain for
six months.
NARS sheer glow is not very good with dry patches, so I don’t know if I
would say that it is good for dry skin.
Sam, can you please do a video of your makeup in this tutorial?
Please make up tutorial of your make up in this video
Fit me foundation by maybeline is good for dry skin
What about freckles? I really want to know how to work with them without
covering them
I have sensitive, acne-prone, very pale, slightly oily skin and my
foundation routine is: Smashbox Blemish Control primer, Nars Sheer Glow
foundation in Siberia (might one day try the Sheer Matte one, but I don’t
tend to like a matte finish anyway) and then Nars Radiant Creamy concealer
in Chantilly. I buff it all in with my Real Techniques buffing brush and
then dust with Rimmel Stay Matte powder.
Hi Nic &Sam, love the vid, very helpful, names of products went by a bit
fast. But I paused to write some down. I have older skin, used to be combo,
I’m not sure what it is now, but I’ve started to breakout and I’m 45ish,
bizarre! Now what do I do? Wear 2diffwrent foundations ?
Would love to see more videos like this, thanks!
go expensive, use Revlon colourstay, or suck it up
