Oily Face??

Question by ßαbêëߺº♥: Oily Face??
I have a very oily face. Yes, I shower everyday and Yes, I have medicine I put on it every night that was prescribed by my dermatologist. It’s suppose to dry out my face but it won’t! I dont have a ton of acne, but I do have some zits. Is there anything I can do to make it less oliy from now until I go to the skin doctor? Thanks!

now it could be due to the weather. take some mineral water ( spring is fine too) and put it in spray bottle and then spray your face twice a day and/or spray a cotton pad and whipe your face with this water.

What do you think? Answer below!

  1. I used to have oily skin also. If you wear make up, you should switch to Bare Minerals. I NEVER look shiny anymore & don’t even have to reapply during the day. It feels like nothing at all on your skin. It’s the best discovery I have ever made!!

  2. This has probably already been said but try not to touch your face. Washing is important; however your body can produce oils that clog your pores from the inside out. I wish I had more to say, but I went through the same thing.

I was lucky enough to get on Acutane; however there were so many precautions that I had to take.. while it worked.. it was pain. BUT, you cannot be on it forever..

    I wish you well!

  3. Go to your local pharmacy and do some over-the-counter
shopping. There are many products that are made for
treating excessively oily skin. NEUTROGENA, for one.
But if I were you, I would ask the pharmacist what he/she
    thinks is best.
And, also, if you’re seeing a dermatologist, well… good.
That’s a first step in the right direction. However, if what
they prescribed isn’t working, then let them know! (What
they prescribed might work quite well for another of their
patients; but one size does NOT fit ALL!)

    Good luck.
