  1. I know this video is from 9 months ago but if you still have problems with
clogged pores, I suggest that you steam your face. It doesn’t completely
clear out your pores but it really helps. Just boil water in a pan then put
it in a bowl, put a towel over your head so the steam goes on your face and
just let it steam your face for 5-10 minutes. Make sure you take off your
makeup first then after, use a medicated face wash with either salicylic
acid or benzyl peroxide. If you do this on friday or saturday night, use a
simple exfoliant from the drugstore someday during the week just to keep
your face fresh. (st ives fresh face one works good, just don’t scrub too
hard because it does have beads in it)

  2. The Cetaphil dermacontrol makes your skin look shiny and it looks oily, but
I don’t know if it’s only on my skin type :/

  3. I have to be careful in the sun due to Lupus too. Although I do have
systemic Lupus. Sun gives me migraines, makes me burn super easy…I’m
talking like 10 minutes in the sun and I am already sunburned. The hardest
thing I have a problem with, in my skincare routines, due to the Lupus, is
I have the malar rash on my face and it can get irritated super easily by
products, new and the ones I use regularly, so I have to be careful.

  4. Most of the Neutrogena products work best for me. I rarely get break outs
unless it’s that time of the month. The best I’ve used is the Deep Cleanse
    foaming face wash.

  5. How do you do with reapplying SPF through out the day? I mean, SPF on the
face is difficult if you have foundation on >< do you just apply it once in the morning and that's it?

  6. Leighann, you should try using Witch Hazel as a toner after you wash your
face, before you apply moisturizer. It has done amazing things for my skin,
I always used to skip a toner until I tried it

  7. I’m super into Paula’s Choice these days, except for cleanser. I love my
Neutrogena cleansers. Every morning, I use the CLEAR Regular BHA, the
RESIST Light Antixodent Serum, and the RESIST Super Light Daily Defense. I
also use the CLEAR Regular Strength Benzoil Perozide as needed. At night I
use the RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator with Clinique dramatically
    different moisturizing lotion.

  8. I have the cetaphil and I thought I was the only who thought it was oily. I
also have the neutrogena face sun block and it’s less oily feeling, can’t
    remember the SPF amount though.

  9. I have used the oil free Neutrogena face wash and my skin reacted very bad!
My skin started turning red! So I’m never using that again! I don’t have
sensitive skin so I am not sure why that’s happening, and I’m also not
allergic to anything as far as I know.
