  1. +aeronamous: There are certain things, like nicotine, whose molecular size
is small enough to penetrate through skin and get into the blood stream via
what’s known as transdermal delivery. It’s all about the ingredient’s
molecular size and then, in the case of nanoparticles, how it is
formulated. For example, nanoparticles of titanium dioxide are small enough
to get into the body BUT the silicone (or similar ingredient) ingredients
that they’re wrapped in keep these tiny particles where they’re needed
most, which is on skin’s surface. Skin is designed to be (and when not
irritated is) a very good barrier. It protects us by keeping potentially
harmful things out, not letting everything in. More info:

  2. So many options! I don’t know which to pick, as they all seem perfect for
my skin . I think I have all of these, plus a ton more, in my cart! Must.
Narrow. Down. I need a 1 on 1 with you Bryan!

  3. I have dry skin and acne. Would layering Hyrdalight be sufficient moisture
    for dry skin?
I would also like your opinion on castor oil.. I tend to apply castor oil
after my moisturizer but I heard that it can dry out the skin. Is this
    true? Thank you

  4. HI Bryan, I have acne/combination/slightly oily skin, i recently purchased
the skin balancing moisture gel and the resist clear skin hydrator as they
are the most suitable for my skin and even though they are great products,
i dont feel it to be very moisturising and to be honest my skin has not
been oily for a few months, maybe due to the change in season, I also
purchased the resist weightless replenishing toner and its great however i
think i should of brought products based on the current season and my
question is would adding a natural jojoba oil like the dessert essence oil
to my moisturiser help in any way, im also considering the new Moisture
renewal oil booster as well, please help.

  5. Thank you SO much for this guide! This is so helpful to understand and
actually see the difference between these moisturizing options. I would
love to see the same type of video for daytime moisturizers for oily, acne
prone skin! In such a video, it would be helpful to point out which contain
only physical sunscreens for those who are sensitive to “chemical”
    sunscreens. Pretty please! :)

  6. The Hydralight works wonderfully for my combination sensitive skin. I had
an allergic reaction around my eyes, and this actually soothed it. Great
    stuff!

  7. Hi, can you recommend a good moisturiser with spf which is very light in
texture? for my oily skin with acne scars? Thanks

  8. do we need moisterizer if we dont need it? i find using my resist retinol
serum enough to moisterize my skin. or am i better to switch my skin
balancing toner with the resist barrier toner to get the benefits on using
a moisterizer. didnt know if more was better even if the skin doesnt need
    it..

  9. I have a combination skin type and the moisture boost creme works best on
my skin, but this is only the case for winter, also removes that
sticky/tacky feeling that sunscreens give me. I might have to switch to
something lighter for the spring and summer, will be sweating like an
    animal (as nathan says) lool.

  10. You guys have mentioned before that skincare products applied topically do
not enter the bloodstream. What is the difference between skincare products
and say nicotine patches, motion sickness control patches, or other
    transdermal products?

  12. thank you for the help.I love the skin balancing moisture gel but the serum
makes my combination skin too oily so i don’t use it much..Thanks for the
advice and looking forward to try the others you mentioned.

  13. Thanks for making this video, I always look forward to these informative
clips. But now I have a lot of choices to make!

  14. I’ve been waiting for a video like this. It sounds like Hydralight would
suit me. I wish it didn’t contain dimethicone, but I might give it a shot
    anyway.

  15. As always this video is very informative and direct to the point. Just what
I needed to know. Thank you!
