Question by LucyLou: What is the best cosmetics for oily skin and adult acne?
I have never had breakouts until the last year or so. My face is oily and the pores on my cheeks and chin are large. I need to know the best cleansing products and makeup. I have heard it is best to use products from the same line. It is horrible. I have blackheads. I never had one zit as a teen and now I am a mess.

I used Clearasil Daily Face wash on my extremely oily skin for years. I finally had to go to a dermatologist. He wrote me a script for basically the same thing just in a stronger form. If you can’t see a dermatologist (which I recommend) then try that Clearasil Daily Face wash. I sometimes mixed it with a little bit of medicated apricot scrub and that helps too. Don’t use alcohol after washing, use Sea breeze or a good toner. Bare Minerals is great make up for acne/oily prone skin. Its a little pricy but a tiny bit of that stuff goes a long way. You can get a starter kit for around $ 60 at Sephoria.com
