Question by AngelSkywalker5: TEENS: Best products for Acne, moisturizer & sunblock?
so for somewhat oily facial skin, some white heads & pimples, and some visible big pores on the nose. What product/cleanser should I use? I heard Cetaphil (sp?) is very gentle and good. What has worked for you for Acne control? I am not looking for fancy products, I just want good, proven, drug store brands.

A lot of the time, the reason for acne explosions are puberty/lack of exercise. If you have a really oily skin and new zits are constantly popping up,my remedy is to not buy any acne products;because as good and as potent as they are, they ALWAYS have side-effects.I used Proactive once and all it did was make my skin around my ENTIRE face shed.If I were you I would exercise constantly and the acne should go away on it’s own.

I use http://www.walgreens.com/store/catalog/Acne/Advantage-Acne-Control-Kit/ID=prod3156498&navCount=0&navAction=push-product
IT DOES WONDERS. Remember those commercials, with the two girls and they’re like, “clearer skin in just one day!”
No joke.
I haven’t had ANY breakouts from using this. It starts working right away. It’s suuuper soft, and doesn’t smell bad, and I am very pleased with my results. All of Clean and Clear products are simply amazing.
I get the occasional zit around my period, but hey thats life. Nothing a little bit of cover up can’t handle.
I’d reccomend this to anyone.

i am alergic to benzoyl peroxide and i have used the Clinique 3step system (a bar of soap, a cleanser and a lotion) and it works well, but is a bit time consuming…..
I am currently just using a thin layer of aloe vera across my face (it tingles, but that is normal) for about 45 seconds and then i wash it off….. after about a week or a week and a half my pores on my cheeks and T-zone were a lot smaller (naturally i have HUGE pores) It also keeps your face balck-heads free and zit-free.
