My father has asked me to see if I can find a cream for his complexion. He wants something that is not oily and that he can use at night. Unscented would be good as well. Thank You in advance..

I have oily skin and scalp what can I do to help it? I use face wash, astringent and a non greasy lotion. Its odd though because after showering my face and scalp are dry but as the day progresses they get extremely oily. Any suggestions

baby powder for your scalp can help (just a sprinkle combed through). blotting tissues for your face.

Try some African black soap, I got mine from Amazon. Then use witch hazel toner, and jojoba oil to moisturize, just two drops will do your whole face.
For makeup, I use the Valley Girl foundation from L.A. Minerals, and I put their oil control powder over it. My skin is like perfectly clear since I started using this combination of products 😉

I don’t have the clearest skin and it annoys me. I have combination skin. I drink 8 glasses of water a day, I exfoliate every other day, take my makeup off when I come home, brush my hair off my face when I sleep, I wash my face every morning and night.. I eat healthily and I exercise quite a bit. Will drinking green tea help me have clearer skin?

No, green tea won’t help (nor will it hurt), but not putting the makeup on in the first place will help a lot. Also eating balanced meals, as opposed to fast foods, will help too.

I’m somewhere around combination to oily skin.
For example, if I wash my face twice a day morning and night, after I wash my face in the morning it would be oily only on the t-zone. But by night, except around my lips, it becomes oily all over. But just couple months ago, I started having this extreme break out on my cheeks. I still don’t know the exact reason why it happened, but I’m guessing its from stress, health, make-up &/or etc. So I was just wondering a couple of things from here.
1. Which category do you guys suggest I really am? COMBINATION or OILY skin?
2. Toners with alcohol tend to make my face red and sometimes sting. Will it be okay if I use a tonic for sensitive skin?
3. And in my case, should I use a moisturizer thats gel type or light-weight lotion?

I have been dealing with face dandruff for two years now. I thought it would go away on it’s own – it did not.
I have an oily face. The dandruff always appears on my chin, my nose, near my lips.. Sometimes near my eyebrows. It’s everywhere man. It’s not very noticeable unless you come up close.
It’s like tiny flaky white stuff. It’s impossible to get rid of. It does go away for a few mins when I rub it off my skin, but it always comes back.
Just recently, I have been applying homemade facial masks, scrubs, skin toners, and pore peelers on my face. Ingredients of these masks contain either: eggs, honey, lemon juice, green tea, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, canola oil etc in them. It has reduced my acne, lightened scars, but has not got rid of my face dandruff.
I also apply Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser everyday. It moisturises and cleans my face but the dandruff ALWAYS comes back an hour or two later.
I always wash my face with a washcloth and change my pillow cases every other night.
I can not afford to see a dermatologist.
Please.. anyone.. help? 🙁 How to make it go away forever? Or how to at least make it go away for a day? Please help! Your advice will be very much appreciated.

I suspect that you have a skin condition and suggest that you go and see a DERMATOLOGIST about it. Ask your GP to refer you to one they should be able to sort it out permanantly.
By the sounds of it your using to much products you should also as for advice from a skincare specialist at a clinique counter at a department store as they should know quite a lot of information about it.
Definately go see someone about it though as no one on here can see and can help you for sure

Oil patches remove oil.. Toners do too… To open pores.. wash warm water on face.
warm water opens pores
cold water closes pores
Astringent doesn’t help open pores or oily skin

an equal amount of sugar and honey. And u rub it into a wet face for 1-2 mins..rub in small circular motions. Avoid the eye area until the end. Do it once a day. =) good luck.
