Try a mattifier. You can find them in the drug store in the skin treatments section, usually around the acne products. You put it on after you wash your face in the morning. Then you can put on makeup, if you use it. Then during the day carry blotting papers with you. They are thin sheets of tissue like paper that sometime have powder on them. You use them to blot excess oil during the day.

I liked the rice lines of L’occitane. Not tooo expensive, not too irritating, matt feeling.
Their Almonde line is really good too. Although it is for anti-aging (for early aging late 20s early 30s), it really improved my skin.

Waterproof mascara is great!, i like Maybellines great lash range, it stays on all day. For foundation try Revlon Colourstay Mineral foundation, it works amazing and is great for oily/pimple prone skin, as mineral makeups don’t irritate the skin. It also stays on for a very long time, it’s supposed to last for up to 8 hours. Also try using a primer or moisturiser before applying foundation. This allows the foundation to spread on easily and stay on the skin for longer. For covering spots try a good concealer like Maybelline Pure concealer. It’s really light and won’t clog pores.

cetaphil moisturizer. get it at ur local shoppers, its a good price for the amazing value ! its not greasy, doesnt encourage breakouts or anything. i personally use it and i have super oily skin. its lightweight and amazing !
whatever moisturizer u choose, gently rub in WitchHazel along with it for an extra zap of mositurizer that lasts longer !

For some reason, my skin is super oily. Within a hour of washing my face, it becomes oily and shiny. Is there a way to prevent this? I have Clean and Clear’s Oil Absorbing sheets to use during the day, but it only takes away oil for about 10 minutes. By the way, I’m a female.

You really shouldn’t wear foundation if you have oily skin. It will only make your skin more oily and if you are trying to cover acne it will make it worse. Just try to go natural.

Plain natural yogurt, apply it as a facial mask and leave it on for 45 minutes than rinse w/ luke warm water.
Use a vitamin a moisturizer
and wash your skin w/ an orange based soap, it’s transparent and smells like orange.
It helps also absorb all the excess oil you have.

I work for a dermatologist, she always advises oil free moisturizers. A good cleanser she usually suggests is either Cethaphil or Cerave, both are soap free cleansers, and they both also have very nice oil free moisturizers. Good Luck.

I use neutrogena for sensitive skin, facial bar soap. Its the only thing that wont kill my skin, while cleaning it or make me break out. There is also a redness reducing wash lotion by neutrogena that I also use. I used to use alot of other products but they killed my (super super sensitive) skin or caused me rashes, breakouts etc.

If you are oily and do not want a moisturizer, you might like a gel or spray better. The sport gels are nice and the sprays are put onto your hand then applied to the face. Neutrogena cool mist spray, Avena 70 spray are 2 names.

Hi,
I have quite sensitive skin which is prone to dryness – and I’m a fan of Simple products as they never irritate my skin. However, at the moment my skin is becoming quite oily – especially on my forehead – and I’m getting quite a few spots.
The only cleansers Simple do for oily skin are exfoliating washes – but is exfoliating my skin every day good for it, especially with it being sensitive?

Over-exfoliating can actually produce more oil because the pores are secreting sebum to moisturize the face. Maybe a few times a week would be good, not everyday. You can also apply a clay-based mask to your oily spots.

I have very oily skin and I’ve been using this stuff called “Acne Free” you can get from local drug stores. You have to consistently use it, but it works pretty well.

dove soap, avoid, tricosan, deodorant or perfumed soaps and avoid antibacterial soaps. dove is a moisturizing soap and is good for makeup removal and oily skin. don’t use soaps/cleanser for oily skin, it dries them out and make it produce more oil. the teenage years, you just have more oily skin and hair., that’s all.
