ok so i have a blackhead-filled oily nose
i have tried the wave and like a whole bunch of cleansers and moisturizers and i cant get rid of my blackheads and oily skin!! i need help and fast! i cant go into high school lookin like this!!!

I have had bad skin for about 3 years (I’m 14 now). I have tried the dermatologist and every brand under the sun (proactiv, neutrogena, clean & clear, clearisil, biore, you name it, i’ve tried it) and nothing seems to work. I’m going to try another drugstore cleanser, what do you recommend? I have very oily skin, I don’t have big pimples, but I have the little ones all over my face. Thanks for helping!

My brother had really bad acne for a long time and tried different things, even ones prescribed by dermatologists and they didn’t work. He now uses obaji and it has cleared up his skin dramatically. I use it sometimes too as I have mild acne and it helps keep my face clear. Hopefully this helps!

Well, I am not sure that my answer is exactly correct but I think that the cleanser isn’t toxic and you certainly wouldn’t be the first person to swallow or inhale it.
Although it’s very unlikely for you to die from cleanser inside your nose, you should probably be more careful while washing your face.
You could ask a doctor about it if you were really that afraid.

For some reason, my skin is super oily. Within a hour of washing my face, it becomes oily and shiny. Is there a way to prevent this? I have Clean and Clear’s Oil Absorbing sheets to use during the day, but it only takes away oil for about 10 minutes. By the way, I’m a female.

I recommend You moisturize your skin with organic unrefined extra virgin coconut oil. I know you might be like, is she crazy telling me to put OIL on my face? I found out coconut oil is a very effective way to treat acne. I use the organic USDA, unrefined, and extra virgin coconut oil. And it smells sooo good!!! It does not clog pores, well it does not to me. It give you a natural glow, cure redness, acne, acne scar, dryness, wrinkle, fine lines, oiliness, and any skin condition like rash! * All skin needs moisturizer. Your question tells you what kind of moisturizer you need, (For skin normal to oily)
* Cetaphil is a great cleaner and is marketed over the counter as the cleanser for any skin conditions that are “sensitive”. It’s original use was to gently clean away skin with conditions at treating hospitals. You can complete trust it to get your skin as deep clean as possible. With a creamy feel and gentle results many use it because they like how it lathers on, moistures the skin instead of that real taunt scrubbed face feel. and it is great for Acne! It will clean away blackheads, white heads and keep your pores clear of bacteria.
* After cleaning but before moisturizer use a toner. This is must! It will keep you pores in better condition by getting them out of the enlarged state that bacteria build up has caused. Look for one formulated for the normal to oily skin type. Buy yourself some cotton balls. This step in your cleaning is so amazing. It feels wonderful, is balancing to the skin. The cool temperature closes pores as tight as possible right after cleaning for the added protection of keeping out dirt and oils. I like Lo real brand.
* Moisturizer. Use common sense when you apply. One “drop” of moisturizer on your face is all you need for where your skin is normal. If your forehead, nose and chin get shiny and oil comes back within hours, then don’t use the moisturizer in that area. When you put just a drop on you finger , dab your finger to each cheek only then rub it in.
* Check out “oil papers”. These are probably only found at higher end cosmetic counters. I have a Primes Outlet where they carry make like Bobbi Brown and Smashbox. These place will have them. They are the best! You carry them with you. When the oil starts to appear in that T-zone I noted above, the tissue removes it. This the “wow factor”. These little tissue film like squares are just pressed gently against your face where oily. The tissue grabs and removes the oil without removing make up! They are carried with the cosmetics and are considered a must for fashion models with oil prone skin.
