  1. @80shalana When my scars were at their worse, my doctor recommended first preventing new acne (because they ultimately lead to the scars). That is the main thing to do: preventative care. Aside from that, when my scars were particularly bad I spot treated with a prescription cream containing hydroquinone.

  2. @Richmindnheart MAC makeup does break me out. I used to love SF powder but it breaks me out terribly. I actually *just* made a new video explaining what to look for when buying makeup. Check it out for more details on what I use now and why

  3. Do you think MAC powder/foundation make-up causes breakouts? OR have you used it and it caused you to break out? I used it the past then stopped. I recently bought some powder but i think it’s the cause of these bumps that are popping up . I fear that may have been why I stopped in the past but not quite sure.

  4. @cloudswirls I’ve seen CeraVe and it’s seems similar. I’m not super anal about avoiding parabens, but I do prefer my main body products (larger surface area, etc) to be paraben-free if possible. I feel like everything is possibly correlated with cancer so that’s why I don’t restrict myself that much but it’s something I do take into consideration. I am going to sound really ditzy, but I didn’t know there were different settings on the Clarisonic lol. I just press the power button?

  5. @TheRitaWay Well then we are in the same boat. No matter what I use, I am constantly having to blot my face…a pack of blotting papers in my purse is a must have! lol!

  6. @TheRitaWay same and once i tried their products i loved them. Now some stand out above the rest they arent all amazing to me…i love the wash. Plus you can ask for samples and try it out!!!

  7. @makupluve That sounds lush! I really want to get into Origins– it’s a company I feel like I have never really tried out!

  8. @meroekhalia As far as keeping the “oil under control” I really.. don’t. Lol.. my skin is just going to be oily so I have to continually blot (a la the TATCHA sheets I reviewed in a previous video). I don’t use a lot of oil-fighting products because they tend to be harsh on my skin and/or break me out (silicones, etc.) = It’s a tough situation but I will probably film an updated foundation routine sometime soon.

  9. 😀 I’m a new subbie, and I wanted to let you know that I love this video! <3 Our skin types are the same. If you like Cetaphil, you might like CeraVe, too! They're similar, but I've had success with their moisturizers. 😀

Also, don't worry about parabens. I research them for uni and there's no cancer risk. :/ They're natural, good fungicides, which are crucial for cosmetic safety.

Which Clarisonic setting do you use? :O I like it but I'm worried about breaking capillaries from harsh usage. :[

  10. @ PrttyBrwnEyez13 … I currently use M.O.M and it works wonders. I’ve also noticed less breakouts w/ the milk ofmagnesia as well. I will NEVER remove it from my regimen!!

  11. This was awesome… I have notice that clinque even better works well with dark spots very expensive but worth the money…. A little goes a long way…. Rita your beautiful thanks again

  12. could you now do a foundation routine video? i have oily skin too so i love to see what people d t keep the oil under control.

  13. @kinsey9542 That’s awesome.. I used to get microdermabrasion but it didn’t make much of a difference for me. Will definitely consider/look into photo facials though. Thanks for the suggestion!
