How can I avoid facial spots/acne in the sun?

Question by jeebo: How can I avoid facial spots/acne in the sun?
I’m 29 and very rarely get spots except for when I’m on holiday somewhere sunny and then I always get a massive outbreak of little whiteheads around my mouth and chin area.

I have quite oily skin so I’m sure that sun cream doesn’t help. Can anyone recommend a really light/sensitive/oil-free facial sun cream or do you think I should just keep my mush out of the sun completely?

Your skin is probably getting a little dry in the sun and your skins is overcompensating with more oil. Neutrogena makes a pretty good oil-free sunscreen that my sister used to use. She had problems with oily skin for years and used that brand fairly regularly. Aveeno also makes a good oil-free sunscreen that is made to not block pores.
