Question by Cutey: Does Astringent help to close the open pores and Acne oily skin?
I have the very oily skin, which causes the acne on my face. And also i have so many open pores on my cheeks. Somebody recommended me the Astringent for the big open pores. So i was wondering if it really help them to reduce?

Oil patches remove oil.. Toners do too… To open pores.. wash warm water on face.
warm water opens pores
cold water closes pores
Astringent doesn’t help open pores or oily skin

It will help somewhat. Go with Witch Hazel, it is usually by the rubbing alcohol/hydrogen peroxide. It’s much cheaper and works better and is alcohol so it is better for oily skin. Other products take away the oil but then your skin thinks something is wrong so it produces more oil. Alcohol/Witch Hazel is different.
